A passionate, versatile spark of creativity, energy, sweetness and drama, Kalinka Electra consists only of one person, and that is the leader of Kalinka - Olga Ferroni !

A native of Moldova, Olga Ferroni began studying violin at the age of seven. She holds a Master’s of Music Degree in violin performance, having graduated from the G. Musicescu Conservatory in Kishinev, Moldova.

After getting her degree, she played for the National Chamber Orchestra of Moldova and toured Europe for 8 years as a member of the European Symphony Orchestra. While continuing her classical education, she started to explore jazz, playing and singing in different ensembles and big bands making their appearance at jazz festivals in Romania, France and on TV shows.

In 2000, Olga won a green card lottery which allowed her to live and work in the USA. Since then, Olga has been playing for the Orlando Philharmonic Orchestra, Bach Festival Orchestra and Brevard Symphony Orchestra. She was a violinist for the following shows in EPCOT: Cirque de Soleil (as a part of the Food and Wine festivals),

Mo’ Rockin, Ziti Sisters and Story Walkers (Animal Kingdom).

Olga is also a member of the Candlelight Processional Orchestra.

Currently, Olga is a part of the Disney Strings Entertainment. Within the fresh, lively project of Kalinka Electra, you can see her at Disney Springs playing a variety of music as a Kalinka leader. Olga performs at private concerts and events as well, never failing to capture her audience.
