KALINKA JAZZ/POP

Having earned its unofficial name as “America’s classical music”,

the genre of jazz originated in African American communities of New Orleans. Crossover jazz, on the other hand,

is the appropriation of new, popular styles into jazz traditions.

Taking that into consideration, Kalinka Jazz found their voice by merging  types of jazz with crossover. They present well-known, traditional and original compositions in a new, fresh way.

The incorporation of violin into jazz - an element usually completely foreign to jazz music - makes their presentations one of a kind.

Come hear Kalinka play - you will be hypnotized by their incomparable assortment, cooperation, feeling and dimension.
